MY PHILOSOPHY
Life is meant to be enjoyed, even if you have PCOS. Sure, making nutritional changes and reducing certain food groups will likely impact your health, but I’ll never ask you to give up something you love (at least not forever!). Education is a key part of the puzzle – I want you to understand why things affect you and your PCOS symptoms in the way that they do, so that if you are choosing something, it’s an informed decision, and not a blind choice. My focus is on building sustainable habits that last – not quick fixes or fad diets. Some pillars of my personal wellness philosophy are:
Nutrients > Calories
Eat whole foods
Move your body in a way that brings you joy & makes sense for you
Building muscle is the ultimate metabolism booster
Rest is crucial. Do not skip this step!
Mind your circadian rhythms
Figuring out a constructive way to deal with stress will have a ripple effect…because that stress impacts your PCOS symptoms more than you know!
Targeted supplementation can be VERY effective
Play the long game…focus on building habits
